Resources

Not only do we want to provide you with quality training to offer Mpact Clubs for girls at your church, but we know you are dealing with real life issues. Girls are facing struggles we would have never dreamed about 10 years ago.

We have gathered some resources for you below and are adding to this page regularly so be sure to check back periodically. If you see an issue not covered, or that you have a good Christian resource that has helped you, please let us know what it is so we can check it out.

There are many opportunities to become involved with TN Girls

Ministries. We will have speakers, workshops, and resources specifically for girls and teen girls. We will have leadership training seminars, MPACT Clubs, and also Teen Girls Ministries resources that are relevant in reaching girls of all ages! Below are some helpful tools if you are interested in starting the MPACT or Teen Girl Program at your church!

MPACT CLUBS

MPACT Girls Clubs is a biblically based program offering girls of all ages a place to belong, grow, and deepen their walk with God. These clubs provide an environment of support and accountability while helping girls develop their gifts and talents. In addition, girls build lifelong relationships with mentors who encourage girls to be the next great leaders of their generation. This program provides a curriculum to guide you as you disciple your girls. Schedule your MPACT training today by emailing sharper@tnaog.org

MPACT TRAINING

If you are interested in starting the MPACT program at your church, the TN Girls Ministry Trainer would love to come and train your team. Below are two training options to choose from. Please contact Sheila if you are interested in bringing this training to your church.

Option One: Beginner Training- This training is for new girls' leaders who want to begin the MPACT Ministry at their church. During this training event the team will cover all the basics of the MPACT Ministry along with sharing everything you need to have a successful girls ministry.

Option Two: Refresher Training- This training is for a church that currently has the MPACT Ministry but is in need of fresh insight, new ideas, and relevant ways to better the current program. If a team needs a little inspiration and new ideas this is the best option.

Common Questions about Mpact Training:

How do I set up MPACT training for my church?

To set up MPACT training for your church you can contact our Girls Director, Sheila Harper, at sharper@tnaog.org. Please provide what church you are affiliated with, what type of training you and your team would like, and the date you would like to have your training.

What days is training provided?

We will work together to find a time that suits everyone, and we can have the most people present from your church who want to be involved.

How long does a training last?

Each training last approximately 6-7 hours, depending on the training option you choose. They generally begin at 9:00 a.m. and adjourn at 3:00 p.m.

What do I have to provide to hold training at my church?

We ask that each person pay $25 and the church to provide a lunch for your team and the TN Girls trainer. If your church is several hours from Middle TN, we ask that you provide a hotel stay on the night before for the trainer. If you are close to Middle TN the team will make that drive in one day and will not need hotel.

What are the benefits of having Mpact Clubs at my church?

Research shows girls learn more quickly and deeply when they are taught by a role model. Girls need a real-life example. When a girl understands what it means to be a godly woman, she aspires to the design that God intended. A single-gender classroom has many benefits, but the greatest of these is for a girl to feel safe and secure in her discovery of who God intended her to be.
